Thought I'd check in and introduce myself here. Lurking for a while but just joined. Living in the USVI on St. John. Got a '96 base that is pretty beat up but runs...so I want to keep it that way. Parts are a real beotch to get here and only 2 options for a "parts" store - so therefore I look online.
Runner has 144k miles on the 4cyl...that was 4 years ago and 2 owners, speedo doesnt work so unknown mileage. Dont need the speedo here, cant get much over 30 mph here. 2wd, but gets me around except on a super steep wet road.
Anyways - not a show piece but a work horse for sure, been dumping some $$ into it lately - front/rear brakes, water pump-timing chain-thermostat-hoses, fuel filter, tires... ye haw!
