Okay, so the 4Runner Trail is my 2nd 4WD vechicle to own. I first owned a '98 ZR2 Chevy Blazer that had push-button 4WD. It really bothered me, so when I was looking for a new truck, I chose one with a manual shifting option. Anyway, so what is the correct order, in terms of shifting to N, driving forward, etc, to get to 4Lo? I tend to always grind something when doing it.. It's not a bad grind but it still bothers me. I always read the instructions and know it has to be in N before going to 4Lo, but it seems that if I don't shift there in a quick manner, it tends to grind. Anyway, I was just looking for some tips etc, or maybe just some advice... Thanks guys!
