Newbie from Hawaii

Wassup guys, i'm new to the forums, been doing a lot of research on the forums while searching for my new 4Runner. Finally sealed the deal, and waiting for it to get shipped to Hawaii. I say it took me about a year for my find. I never would have thought I would have bought it from the California. It was just too good of a deal to pass up, but of course Mama had given me the thumbs up so it was all good.

Here is a pic:

This is going to be a pavement pounder, going to the beach with the Stand Up Surfboards. Only upgrades are gonna be to get it tinted, CAI, some pipes.........unsure on the route of what style and type of rims to get.

Aloha bradda and welcome to T4R.org!

Nice to see another Hawaiian on the forum! I'm from Waimea on the Big Island.

Congrats on your new runner and looks like a nice find!

Hey man, thanks for the first post, Hawaii got a lot of them, I really like the old school runnahs, and I know Big Island get choke yotas, trucks and all. But got a deal that I couldn't pass up......Plus can't run a scrambler on the main roads over here, its gonna be all show and no go.........

Haha yeah we got LOTS of yotas over here, mostly the current gen tacoma but there are some really badass runners and tacos on the road.

So when is your new runner gonna be in Honolulu?

The shipping company said it would be on the boat next week Saturday, I just hope I get it before March.......so for now, just looking and admiring pictures. But I was looking on Forums Hawaii, and craigslist and saw a lot of old yotas prior to my purchase. Maybe eventually i'll get an old school runnah........I gotta butter up the other half for that one though, can't justify that toy purchase..........LOL.......
