Newbie here with a few maintenance ?'s

Hi guys,

My 02 SR5 Sport edition 4Runner is about to hit 100,000 miles and I wanted to stop by here and see if you had any items that should be looked at on my Runner. Trans fluid, belts, plug, wires all that stuff or maybe don't mess with anything if its all working correctly. I searched around your site but couldn't find a list of recomended maintenance that I should do to my 4 Runner at this milage point.

I bought it used when it had 60K miles on it and it came as a certified Toyota with the 100K mile warranty. I have done nothing to it besides change the oil filter, oil and air filters since I bought it. I know that the timing chain was replaced by the Toyota Dealership before I bought it and that was at 60K miles.

Do any of you know the next time I should change the timing chain?

I also bought the set of the factory repair manuals from Toyota dealership for the vehicle and they should be here soon so if any of you want to refer me there thats great too! Thanks in advance

Sounds like you might need the maintenance schedule as well.
There's a way to browse it by interval on Toyota's Web site:

There's a lot to be done at 90K miles, so I'd start there.

Thanks Toto! Looks like the propeller shaft is in for some lubing!! I'll check some of the other things too but I was expecting to see spark plugs, wires, filter changes and fluids to be flushed.

Hopefully those manuyals get here soon.
