hello,
newbie here with qustion regarding the possible purchase of an 09 4runner.
i currently have a fully loaded 07 ford explorer sport trac that i am ready to turn in. i am not satisfied with the transmission and the sub-par quality of this 40K vehicle.
i am a fleet admin for my company with 70+ plus vehicles. 90% are toyota matrix and camry's. i have had great experience with them and feel that the 4runner would be a great option for me as i know toyota quality is superior to ford.
i am looking for people's experience and input with the 4runner.
i am leaning toward the limited 4X4 V-8. i love the look of the sport with the hood scoop and chrome grill, but it doesn't come with leather. colour is also another tough choice as i like the galactic gray mica, shadow mica, or black.
what are common mods? any exhaust ?

Can't help with color. Most lift or at least level the front end and upsize one tire size (or more). Some do exhaust and there's lots of stereo upgrades. Check out the Perf Zone and Accessories of this forum.
