Hello All! I purchase a 99 sr5 v6 4x4 runner and I love it!! it has 137 k miles and she runs like a champ!! I took her to my local Toyota dealer and replaced the head gaskets, cleaned the throttle body, all three belts, front right axle, new antenna, rear whipper, new a/c system, tune up, both front and rear shocks and I had to install a sound system (now it goes BOOOM).
Anyways, if you all can be kind enough to offer some suggestions on any upgrades to give her a bit more hp and make her a bit faster at take-off, I would greatly appreciate it!

By head gaskets, did you mean valve cover gaskets? (I'd be surprised if it had a head gasket issue at 137K)

As for the suggestions you're looking for, short of supercharging it there really aren't any. Deck plate, ISR, air filters, exhaust, etc are all more just for sound than for any real performance.

Other best (albeit less popular) option is changing the power to weight ratio...

And by that you mean do what you did? Add a big a$$ roof rack high lift jack shovel big tires and soon to be front bumper? Haha just kidding.
But op you could always do what ghostring did and make it look as bad a$$ as his truck does!
