Newbie I hope ? About dingy towing auto 4x4

Well now I aints the smartest cracker in da package sos I didnt knows how to spels forin, sos Jap i thought was short for Japan.
Looks to me like forin could be anything other then cracker built products and i wanted to give credit to the country of Japan. I think you should be PROUD to have your country singled out of the rest. I am in the motorcycle business and we use the word Jap bikes quite often and I just happend to ride one and own several brands of their autos I think they are the best out there.

So in fun dude wasnt trying to upset no one, So peace brother.

Back to business, I just bought one of those ole cracker jeeps tonight so looks like I wont be bothering anyone much any longer.

Thanks to all you have been very nice to reply about my concerns, I hope to upgrade later to a towable Toyota.

flat tow

I am planning on flat towing a 1998 4runner sr5 with an automatic. The toyota logic doesn't make sense. A transfer case doesn't have a oil pump that needs to run with the transmission. The case is filled with fluid and the parts are submerged in it. I will let you know how it goes but I really don't think there will be any problems. I am going to put the transmission in park and the transfer case in neutral.

You can buy a driveline disconnect and have it installed for fairly cheaply

I looked at buying a 4runner that had been flat towed and they had a disconnect installed
