NEWBIE --KEY FOB questions

Hi guys,

Just got an 06 4runner and love it. the only thing that bugs me is having to press the key fob twice to open all the doors. (i guess everyone has their own pet peeves). I was able to program it in my old vehicle to open all the doors with one click.

I did a search and found several posts on reprogramming the key fob but nothing on changing its function.

I even tried (like 100 times to the tee) the link that Atomic 4Runner provided in the one of the posts for the RS3200 system, but had no luck. During my attempts the system would lock and unlock to acknowledge whatever i was doing but when I tried to just unlock the door with one click...no luck????


Can anyone provide some info on this.

i think you cannot reprogram the key fob for security reasons.
