What tire size is equivalant to this for an 18" rim?

265/70/17 = what in 18"? 265/65/18???

Or let me rephrase this, what is the biggest tire that will fit on a stock riding T4R on the limited 18"s?

I have 265/65-18 tires on my T4R Limited rims (albeit on a GX470 in my case) and they work just fine with no rubbing/trimming. Gives you about an extra 0.5" of ground clearance compared to the stock 18" tire size of 265/60-18. This is roughly equivalent in going from:
265/65-17 to 265/70-17 or
265/70-16 to 265/75-16

As for what is the biggest tire that will fit on the Ltd 18" wheels I'm not sure. I remember there was an old T4R of the month with even bigger tires but I believe he may have had a lift kit installed.
Edit: It was ProMed, the March '08 T4ROTM winner that I was thinking of, link: http://www.toyota-4runner.org/showthread.php?threadid=32116

How come I can't find the Nitto Terra Grapplers in the 265/65/18?

Do you think 275/65/18's will fit? What are my other options? I'd like to go slightly bigger, but dont' want any rubbing issues.

i believe you would have to lift the front 2 inches to run the 275s & might still have to trim some, but thats easy enough to do & it will look stock. otherwise maybe try a different make tire.

limited wheels and tires

I found BFG AT in a 265/65/18...might go with that.

Cooper Zeon LTZ also looks cool, but they come in a 285/60/18.

Anyone running the 285/60/18 with any clearence prboems on a stock 4r?
