Newbie with a few questions

Hello everyone,

This is my first post. I come from the M3forum. I am trying to sell my M3 to save a bit of money. An SUV fits my lifestyle well and the new 4runners are appealing. I test drove a sport today and have a few questions.

It's a little tight for me. I'm 6'3" and 220 lbs. Has anyone purchased a sport or limited without a sunroof? I think this would give me a bit more headroom, but I'm not sure if dealerships ever stock them like this?

Can anyone recommend a good dealership in the Bay Area, CA? Preferrably a place selling close to invoice.

There are a few members here that are over 6' tall and I'm not sure what they said about having the moonroof or not but I'd do a quick search and you might find something.

If you want the best deal, goto any dealership's internet/fleet department. You can even just email them or call them prior to meeting and setting on a price. This way you never have to haggle at the dealership. All dealerships have website so it'll be easy to find the internet dept.

Most 4runners are going from 100-500 over invoice. I've read one as low as 900 below or something like that but that's just one of those rarities.

I am about 6'3" and most of my height is in torso length. I.e., I have a 30 inch inseam. So, sitting down I am taller than most 6'8" men.

I tried with and without the sunroof, and I would say there is MORE headroom with the sunroof, not less.

Your mileage may vary, try it for yourself, etc. etc.

Thanks for the buying advice.

I sat in both models with and without a sunroof and I remember having about 2 inches more in the model without, but I'll confirm again before buying.

Thai, thanks for the welcome. I will either keep the M3 or sell it and likely get a 4runner.....I'll probably see you on one forum or the other.....well, both for a few weeks.
