Very interesting idea. (Subscribed to see what others think/word on how easy/hard install will be.)

i was thinking about this, however i decided to make my own!

i took a drywall mud pan, painted it black, cut a hole in the center that fit some RV sewer hose, mounted it in my grill cup side out snaked the hose up through my fender and out into the old cut out in the inner fender for the old air intake and when i drive the cold air scoops in and comes out beautifully right in front of my K&N!

Interesting idea, but at $395 with shIpping, plus installation, that's gonna leave a big hole in the pocketbook. It better save a big chunk on mileage, and even then, ROI (return on investment) will take a very long time, IMHO.

got pix ?

yea it is steep your more or less paying for the pretty overflow bottle and the brackets which can easily be fab'd up with some time and use ur stock bottle or buy one from summit and the fan can even be purchased from summit just use those dimensions 17 1/2, 21 1/2, 4 3/16. i think a fan relay kit is about 50-80 bux thoughso you'd only be saving maybe 75-50 in the end but your putting alot of your time into it to keep that in mind. return on investment well figure on average 2mpg saved per tank, ur talking an extra 40 miles out of 1 tank if ur working off the 2 mpg average.

ill post some pics when i can get back to my camera, i know what your going for with the eletric fan haha. youll see what i mean once i get a pic on here
