Those are the ugliest sliders I have ever seen!

Other than that, agree that it's a decent price for a decent truck.
 
and i should be picking it up tomorrow night hopefully. been trying to for a week. it was in the shop then they got it back and put another car in the shop, etc. it had mismatched tires/wheels on it, possibly needs rear wheel bearings, needs UCA bushings replaced shortly, check engine light on (supposedly due to o2 sensor)...we'll see. I can do the work and clean it up myself if that is all it needs, the front left fender will have to be repaired/replaced though.

niceee get some pics up when u do buy it. are u going to part it out and sell back everything stock? whats ur plan with it
 
I passed on it (but did make an offer). It was in way worse condition than I expected from our phone conversations and her son blew up the rearend (again) this week driving it around. There really isn't a straight body panel on it other than the right rear quarter and the core support and inner fender on the left side is pretty tweaked. The bumper is all pushed up into the fender and headlight on the drivers side with a big gap on the passenger side, etc. It also needs tires, he has 2 or 3 sets of wheels for it and all of them have wore out tires.

It could be fixed up but would easily be a couple thousand up front with no real guarantee how much more it would need when you started peeling the stuff away.

The front bumper is gross, typical KMA stuff there and the winch cable is broken and the control box is just sitting on top of it.

I'd rather buy a stock one, put some 5100's on it with Tundra coils and get a decent bumper and a smittybuilt winch. Probably the same investment and you can know it wasn't beat on.

There always seems to be something wrong with a car with that many mods selling that cheap. I had e-mailed him a while ago to ask if he would be willing to part any of it out. He was just trying to sell it quick as is, and make the mods create value in the car it seems.

in my opinion the mods on it (after looking at it) don't add any value.

The bumper is hideous and HUGE and either doesn't fit right or the front end is tweaked even worse than i think. The fabtech suspension lift isn't the good coilovers that were available, they are just cheap white body fabtech shocks with an adjustable collar on them. The winch is broken, etc. If the mods were nice it may be worth it to fix the other stuff but honestly it would be cheaper to start with a stock one and mod it .
 
2001 4Runner with that much mods for that price is an awesome deal but since it is a very good deal that might be too good to be true it is a good idea to bring someone that have good knowledge on what to look for to see if it is in good running order. Good find!
