NicoG '99 4Runner New to the Family

Well after wanting a 4Runner for years now, I finally pulled the trigger and purchased a 1999 V6 SR5 4WD. 160,000k on the clock and in overall decent condition. Not sure what the color is (Imperial Jade Mica?) but I like the dark green look. I am coming from driving an '02 Lexus IS300 which I put way too much time and money into. Now I've been lurking around 4Runner forums planning what I wanna do with the truck. The mod bug is back :banana: Here are some pictures of the new and old.

As far as the mods the the 4Runner go, I think I am going to start with suspension. Lifting by means of the Tundra Billstein 5100s, and OME 881s in the front and 906s in the rear. Will the ride with this setup be bearable? Also how adjustable would this setup be in terms of height. Obviously I'd like the truck to set nice and level.
Next would be tires, I would be keeping the stock wheels. I'd like to go a few sizes bigger, but nothing that would affect MPGs too much or require changing the gearing. What would you guys recommend? Thanks in advance! I'm excited to be part of the 4Runner family and I look forward to learning much more.

Nice! My 99 is the same color as yours so if you get sick of the hood scoop I would gladly trade you lol. I am moving back to Houston for school but go to SA a lot. Have any plans for performance mods?

Nice, I'll actually be driving the truck to Flagstaff, Az next week for school. But ideally the LCE headers, an some sort of exhaust. This probably won't be happening anytime soon though since funds are tight.

Thr suspension setup will be nice. I'd get the 890s over the 906s though. That gives your front more room for adjustability without being taller than the rear. Those Tundra shocks have 5 levels to them. I have 906s and am looking for 890s at the moment for that very reason.
