I considered them but after reading some reviews in off road magazines it appears they are more for the heavy duty pickup use. I am glad I went with the BFG all terrain KO2 tires.

I think it depends on what your intended use is. I see the OP is here in FL as well, and we have to deal primarily with mud, sugar sand, and wet pavement here. I've been running the Exo Grapplers on my 2014 4Runner for awhile now, and I can tell you that they excel in all three areas. I've run different flavors of Nitto tires in the past (Mud Grapplers, Terra Grapplers, and now the Exo Grapplers). The Exo Grapplers are hands down the best multi purpose Florida tire I've run. They're even surprisingly quiet on the pavement.
The problem with most mud tires is they really suck on our wet roads during the heavy rain season (dangerously slippery). Typical AT tires like the Terra Grappler are great on the pavement and wet roads, but only "ok" offroad....and fairly lousy in mud. The Exo Grapplers are like AT tires on the highway, and far better than AT tires offroad....and ESPECIALLY good in the mud as compared to AT tires. I suspect that the Coopers and the BFG hybrid mud/AT tires are about the same as the Exo Grappler, so I'm not sure any of them would win in a head to head competition. I have just had very good luck with Nitto tires, and these are by far the best I've run here.
