Nitto terra grapplers vs BF Goodrich AT ko2?

Trying to decide which tires to order: nitto terra grapplers, Goodyear wrangler duratrac, or BF Goodrich all terrain ko2! Any one have previous experience with either? I think I'm going with 265/70/17 for my new TRD pro wheels. What size tires will fit on a 07 v6 sport with a 1" front leveling kit before it will rub? Thanks in advance!

I've owned 2 sets of each (well just the KO). Both are really decent all terrain tires. Bfg will give you better mud & snow traction. The Nitto's balance out much better than KOs.
For offroad, I'd pick bfg. Mostly on road, terra grappler takes it for me. Both were reliable for me, I abused my BFG's (35") more than I did with terra grappler (33')

265/70/17 should be perfect with a leveling kit only.

Im not sure of size but I have had the original BFG a/t and loved them, also my brother has the Ko2s and has no issues either(on his f150). Non the less id opt for the Ko2s. Great in all weather too. Just my suggestion/input.

I had the Nitto G2's and loved them. They are a good looking all terrain tire. The main thing that got me sold on them was the warranty they offer, I think its 60,000 miles.

if you are gonna be in mud snow ice etc..the duratracs are pretty awesome and the best of these 3 for those conditions plus good road manners...if dry rocky wheeling and better road manners plus a longevity go with the bf's...

I don't do any serious off roading. I live in CT and mostly go north for snowboarding trips and occasional trails. Looking for something that's good in rain and snow and occasional mud.

Do you think I can run 275/70/17 on stock xreas with the daystar 1" front leveling kit or do you think I'd need wheels spacers and a all around lift?

I love the KO2's on my 4th gen. I feel these are a big improvement over the KO, which I also have had excellent luck with. The KO2's are a little smoother and a lot quieter than the KO's. They also feel like they have better wet pavement traction but the KO's were never really bad either.

The Nitto's are an ok tire as well but not quite on the same level as the KO2.

I have 265/70/17's on my stock '06, and the upper ball joint arm is within 1/2 inch of the tire. A 275/70/17 will be 5mm closer (.2 inches) so probably would still work, but would be getting real close. Certainly would keep the mud scraped off the inside of the tire

I've been running Nitto Terra Grappler G1s for almost 50,000 miles and I have no complaints. That being said the G2 model is supposedly much better with a new tread compound and full depth siping.

I've also read a lot of good reviews on the new Nitto Exo Grappler which has strong ratings as well.

You also can't go wrong with BFGs, they have a slightly higher price point, but are always a solid choice too.
