Nitto Terra Grapplers

So I'm just about ready to purchase a new set of tires and I've got one remaining question that I was unable to answer with research on the forum.

I've decided to go with Nitto Terra Grapplers in a 265/70/17. The best price I've found them for is $151 per tire, which, after installation and tax is around $700.

My question is whether anyone has seen this particular tire any cheaper than $151? I'll be purchasing from Discount Tire and they'll price match anything cheaper. I just figured I'd check before taking the plunge.

Thanks!

Checkout their on-line store (if you got the quote in-store) and if the on-line price is cheaper they will match with a bit of prodding to the salesman.

I priced what will be my 2nd set and the store price was almost $900 out the door with hazard certificates but on-line I found them much cheaper for my size (265/75/16) and then when the salesman figured in mounting and balancing done in-store the price was around $760 out the door and he agreed to give me the on-line price.

$700 is a very good price for TGs.

That is indeed the online price that they agreed to give me in-store. Thanks for the tip though.

I don't really expect to find them any cheaper.

Is that $700 for 4 tires or 5 tires? I paid a little over $600 for 4 including mounting/balancing.

That's 4 tires ($151 ea. + $15 ea. install +tax).
I've got a used 265/70/17 for the spare, no need for a fifth.

HB, where did you get yours?

America Tire Co.

They were $13X.00 per tire.... I want to say I remember $136, but it may have been like $134.

$600 a very good price but I do like the service I get at Discount and those Road Hazard warranty certificates do add about $80 to the price so I'm pretty happy with my $750 quote and I'll be getting my tires very soon.

got mine for 118 per tire from a mom and pop shop. hands down, best tire you can buy around that price point.

It's too bad you live so far. Mine only have 12K on them, and I am about to take them off for a set of 285 Nitto TG's.
