Nitto Terra G's (tires)

Anyone with these on their 4th gen who could provide me an overview - likes/dislikes? Any pictures too?

Now more specific...anyone with Nitto TG with stock wheels and more specifically either 265 or 275 x 70 x17's.

With a lower profile I can see how the wider tires don't present a problem for clearance but I don't want to loose off-road quality of a higher profile tire.

Nothing really muddy. Once the fall rain starts around here, I will have plenty of opportunities...and hopefully some pics!

Ended up with 275x70x17 MTR's. They were not willing to fit 285's to the 7.5 wheels. Happy all the same.

Coming soon! We are grappling with a small thing called manatory evacuation due to the Bell Canyon Fires.

Note that these are two are very different tires.

The Nitto's are an aggressive AT tire and would be awesome for on-road and light off-road.

The MTR's are aggressive Mud/Rock terrain tires and feel a little different on-road but are awesome off-road (from what I've read and heard).

Beyond the MTR you would have a sole use offroad mud truck or rock crawler truck which have different lugs on the sidewalls. You probably don't want to go down this avenue with a road going truck

You might want to decide firstly what you want in a tire as AT's and MT's are quite different.

I'll know more about my new MTR's in a few weeks after our Anza Borrego trip.

Is anyone running these tires in P265/70R-17 size? On stock Limited wheels?

It seems to be the only thing close that I can find at Discount.

Just got brand new set Nitto TG 265/70/17 on limited stocks. Awesome!!!!! Initially w/ 1.5" wheel spacers but rub when steer. Took it off and PERFECT! Pics soon

Do a search on Nittos and you'll find alot as there are several 4th gen members that just put TGs on their Runners.
