Nitto's, Revo's or Forterra's?????

I just got some prices on three different tires and can't decide which to get. Details: This is for 4 tires,

Revo's - 265/65/17 - $704 out the door from Costco.

Nitto Terra Grapplers - 265/70/17 - $603 out the door.

Forterra Silent Armor - 265/70/17 - $709 out the door.


They are all good tires and would serve their pupose so at this point I'm looking for value.

How much worse is the gas mileage if I upsize?

How do I tell tread wear rating or which has the longest tread wear and by how much?

Did anyone get their speedo adjusted for the 265/70/17's?

The treadwear rating is purely subjective. It is a number assigned by the manufacturer when compared to other tires the make.

Before I decided on the MTR's I looked at the same tires you have listed. I REALLY liked the look of the Nitto's for price and tread pattern (they are snipped too). For an AT tire they looked pretty aggressive to me. Revos would be my next choice. Most guys on this forum seem to go for the Revos.

Well I'm low on funds so I am going to get the Nitto's. We'll see how they wear and ride. Out of these tires I do think they look the best also.
