I had my windshield replaced about a month ago and realized I dont have my NJ inspection sticker anymore. Does anyone know how I would go about replacing it? Do I just go to the DMV or do I have to go to an inspection station? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.
weird. i'm surprised they didn't scrape it off and re-attach it. that's what they did to mine when i had gotten my windshields replaced in the past. i would assume to call the DMV, tell them your situation and see what they say.
If you have a receipt for the inspection and a receipt for the new windshield, the issuing inspection station should be able to re-issue the sticker for no charge.
Yup I had my Jeep windshield replaced last year. I live in Jerzey. They came to my work location and replaced it in the parking lot. They taped the old sticker to the windshield
My family had a few windshields replaced and the inspection sticker was always transfered to the new windshield. I would go to the DMV and tell them your story. I am sure they will be very easy to deal with! :
