NM 4Runner Here

I've been lurking around this site for a while now and I finally joined up to start looking to contribute. I have a '93 4Runner with 124k miles on it. I've had this one for about 1.5 years now and it is the second time that I have owned a second gen. My buddy spun a rod in my last one a while ago and I ended up having to sell it while I was in the middle of doing a 3.4L swap in it. Oh well.... Well this one still has the 3.slow in it but now that I have 2 kids I don't really see any reason for the speed anymore. So far the only thing that I have done to her is swapped out the rims with some '02 Tacoma rims and added some AISIN hubs to her.

The hubs are awesome also, and thanks to this site and a few others I was able to get the things cleaned up and installed pretty easy. One thing though, if you have a bent tension spring, I found it easier to reheat it with a small butane torch and reform it back to its original shape. Just make sure that you dip it in oil and it will keep its tension strength, well from what I can tell. My tension springs were warped to the point of where the hubs didn't work, that's probably why I got the pair for less than $100. But instead of paying outrageous shipping fees for thin spring I just reformed then and they have been working great since.

Anyways, I have seen some runners around here in Albuquerque with the T4R.ORG tags and I decided that I would like to join them. Also, if you are in the area hit me up for some wheeling.
