Pretty much, Bilstein sent out a bunch of orders in late Feb. I had ordered back in December and got mine 2.5 months later. I'd put in an order or find a local shop that got their orders. Local shop here in Houston post a pic of about 20 sets they had on Friday.

Amazon just got the rear 5100s for my FJ back in stock (shipped and sold by amazon). Maybe check there.

I’ve had a set in order since Jan 25th from shock warehouse and every month they tell me maybe next month. I also called Toytec and talked to Jason about other options of shocks and availability. He was telling me that I should expect to see things back to normal May or June April if I’m lucky.

I was able to score a complete set of 5100's last week. Got the fronts from Toytec and the rears from Amazon. I had just been watching the usual sites for a while now and pulled the trigger as soon as any were in stock. I guess I got lucky.
When I saw that Toytec had the fronts and were not marked backordered I called to verify if they had them in stock. They said they had just received a small shipment so I placed the order right then. Checked around for the rears and just happened to see the Amazon had them (said 5 in stock) so I snatched them while I could.

Great tips on searching high and low and splitting the order. My local 4x4 might have the fronts. My first reaction was no thanks I need all 4. But now I might start being a hoarder and take what I can get.

After listening to all of your recent success stories I decided to search front and rear separately and found a set available on Amazon. They had 15 fronts and 6 rear in stock. I placed my order about an hour ago and have received a confirmation email and the fronts have already shipped. Thanks everyone!!

Thanks for posting, ordered today and got a shipping notice. Pretty relieved because I had them backordered elsewhere and didn't sound like I would get them in time for a trip I have planned
