My father in law wanted me to take him to Lizard Lick to take a pic of the city limit sign. We parked, he took some pics and as I turned to go back to the 4Runner I saw the perfect photo opportunity. It would apply more to some of the more "monster" SAS 4Runners and Tacomas but great nonetheless!

Out of curiosity, what springs are you running on that?

Stock springs front and rear, 2" or 2.5" Cornfed spacers up front and I can't remember for sure but either Cornfed in rear or Toytec. I also have a 2" body lift, riding on 285/75/16's.

Looks good! Trying to figure out how I want to do mine and I liked the look of yours. Not sure I want to go that high though!

No running boards makes it look a lot higher off the ground for sure. I had a 1" body lift but with the bigger tires had to go to 2" for clearance. The spacers are great on stock coils, rides just as smooth or maybe a tad stiffer but not really noticeable to me. It used to be my DD but with gas going up it's not financially savvy for me to drive it every day. I take it out once a week to work or so which is about a 55 mile round trip.

I was going to remove the running boards, but the wife informed me that they are much appreciated by those under 6' tall! I did consider removing them to refinish them and not get around to putting them back on though

Spacers are definitely an attractive option based on the price, but my stock springs are pretty rough (driver's side is 1" lower than passenger side ATM) so I was thinking OME 880/906 as a replacement. I don't want to lift it too much at this point because of course if I lift it then I'll want a diff drop and extended brake lines. Then bigger tires, then skid plates and sliders and lights etc etc etc when that money should be going into my house! You can only push the "work truck" argument so far!
