No body side moldings on 2004. Anyone adding them yourself?

Hi all- just picked up a titanium silver '04 SR5 tonight and I am already loving it! But...there is no body side molding on this model and I am afraid that I will get lots of door scratches and dings on this new puppy, as this happened with my wife's Acura MDX, which also came with no body side molding (the 2004 MDX did have the molding and her dealer added it to her 2003). Anyway, has anyone found a nice option for this, and where did you put it on the doors to make it look good? I was thinking of adding a contrasting color or pinstripe anyway to this 4runner to help give it a little character and break up the solid silver color. Thanks in advance for all replies!

Do you mean door edge guards?

Are you talking about the rubber strips which can be added to the door edges so they don't chip when opened against an object ( like garage walls )? Or the kind of strip which runs the length of the vehicle?
In either case there are products available. JC Whitney comes to mind.

Yea, the strip that runs the whole length of the vehicle. I was wondering if anyone else has added this to their 4 runner as I am surprised they left this important part out. I'll check out J.C. Whitney ...Thanks for your reply.
