Hi,
Fairly new here -- browsed and posted a bit since getting my 03 V8 Sport 4 months ago.
I got a jonesin' to do some inexpensive mods to my truck this weekend. I noticed the deck plate mod is only for 3rd Gen runners. Why? I did notice the air box is different, and there's not much flat space on the front of it to put a 4" plate, but has anyone done anything different? Possibly a smaller opening? Any other cheap DIY mods I could do in a day?
Been thinking about removing the running boards, but my wife and daughter might object. All they do is bring gobs of slush and dirty snow along with them into the garage in the winter...uhhh, the running boards, not my wife and daughter.
Again, I am looking for inexpensive mods I can do this cold, snowy weekend that would help get me gradually from a bone stock grocery getter to something a bit more fun looking. So anything you got is welcome.
