Have a 94 runner 3.0 v6 that was sitting for a couple of months and when I started it last it ran, then while running I gave it some throttle(by hand under the hood) and I heard a click or something similar to that and since then it won't start. I found it only started with starter fluid being sprayed in the intake. So I know it's not getting gas. I replaced the fuel pump and sender and it still wouldn't work. I checked the fuses including the EFI relay and the 15amp EFI fuse under the hood. I ran a wire from the positive lead on the fuel pump directly to the battery and the truck now runs. So the truck's fuel lines and filter are clear and getting gas to the EFI. The truck won't start without my direct battery lead to the fuel pump. Something is telling the computer not to send gas to the motor. I tried disconnecting the throttle position sensor and tried opening the mass air flow flap inside the filter. Checked the circuit opening relay. Still no luck:soapbox: What do I need to check, is there anymore sensors or relays I need to check that are only fuel related??????? Where does that positive lead on the fuel pump run to(i think it does around the frame into the cab under the front seat carpet to a plug in?)
