no heat on driver side of non-dual climate control sport ed

Originally I thought that my air mix damper was just stuck in the 100% A/C side, and that I just needed to repair or replace the damper servo, but now I'm totally confused:

I get heat OR A/C or a mix of both, but ONLY on the passenger side (driver side is always cold, no heat), and my Sport Edition is not dual climate control. This is true for defrost, front, lower and rear vents.

How can this be?

Maybe the sport also has a drivers's side damper servo, but both it and the passenger side are controlled together with the single zone controller?

I'm *hoping* that this is the case but before I take out enough dash to see if there is such a servo on the driver's side, I thought I'd see if anybody has any info on this.

P.S. And yes, the famous clicking noise has been going on for a while, but it's on the passenger side.

There does seem to be an actuator on that side, though I am not entirely sure how it functions in relation to why you are experiencing this particular issue.

Have you done anything recently under the dash that may have caused the air duct to be dislodged?

Thanks for your help. I looked tonight. There are mounting holes for a servo but not an additional one. No work done recently there.
