No heat

My truck hasnt had heat in a while since the servo motor was bad. Had been using the rear vents to heat up the truck. Finally got around to swapping out the servo motor. Now the heat coming out of the front vents get slightly warm where as the rear vents would make peoples feet catch fire! Any suggestions?

ive got a 00 limited with the auto climate control.

is this diesel? You say its a surf, so that could very drastically change the answer.

Two things;
1. Warn rear passengers to the danger of their feet catching fire.
2. Carry a fire extinguisher in case they do not heed the warning.

I don't have any experience with the auto climate control, but at risk of stating the obvious, you probably have a faulty valve that sends hot water to the system, or there is a blockage in a pipe. Unfortunately this will take some time to diagnose properly.

just fixed my neighbor's 02 Mazda Millena, same problem. it was a bad Air Mix Actuator, plus sticky flap doors. replaced the actuator with a junkyard part and cleaned the vent ducts, now it works like new.

totally pain in the butt to do because I had to remove the whole dash to access the vents. took me 4 hours.

haha thanks for the advice. Im going to give it some time and pray that it works itself out. If not, then Im no stranger to pulling out the dash. I pulled out everything when I was replacing the servo motor to find out I could get to it from the pass side footwell :ybrick:
