No KDSS in snowy states?

Hi I live in southwest Pennsylvania.

I have been looking for a ‘22 4Runner with KDSS for approximately 2 months now and cannot find one.

I can find plenty of new 4Runners but none have KDSS.

Does Toyota not sell KDSS equipped 4Runners in areas with snow?

It is strange, I have ha d to wait 5 months for my KDSS equipped 4Runner to be allocated to my dealer in Connecticut. I will tell you however, that a month ago I was checking inventory in eastern PA (Philadelphia, state college, and the like), and saw many KDSS equipped 4Runners. If they aren't already sold, maybe you could take a trip across state, or have your dealer do a dealer swap if there is one you like. You can do inventory search on Toyota smart path, but sometimes they make it hard to change zip codes to see other dealers, in which case clearing browser cookies might help.

I am in Pittsburgh and ran accross 3 with KDSS this month. One used with 1,500 miles, the others, new in transit with ETA 4 weeks. I just saw a new one listed airport Toyota yesterday.

I had to go to PA to get mine with KDSS.

Look at build details or factory window sticker, and it will say KDSS or Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System

In the first picture, the yellow arrow is pointing to the steering rack inner tie rod.

The KDSS swaybar is the large diameter bar below that, attached to the lower A-arm.

Read previously certain stock availability depends on your regional buyer. Regional buyer prefers to buy and sell the higher demand trims. Some configurations are just rare. I wanted Offroad premium kdss sunroof delete with some color preferences. Took 3 different boats before my 4runner arrived.
