No more Stratosphere Mica?!?!?!?!

I've had some (well, actually a lot) problems with my 05 4Runner. In fact, it is a Lemon by Arkansas law. Toyota has said they will replace it. I'm asking for an 06, but I noticed that there's no more Stratosphere Mica! They've replaced it with a Nautical Blue. Has anybody seen this new color in person? How does it compare with the Stratosphere Mica on the 05? I can't really tell what the color looks like in the borchure or on the web, they never come close to the real color on the vehicle. If anybody has seen the new blue, please let me know. Thanks!!!

Good luck getting a new truck. Also the fact that you are getting another 4Runner after all the problems you've had with yours says a lot about the truck.

I checked out the Nautical Blue Metallic on-line. You can't trust anything on-line, you need pictures.

However, I navigated the Japanese Toyota website and found the colors over there. The blue looks to me like a lighter stratosphere mica but it may be the same or not. You should get a friend who reads japanese to actually say what their color is there.

Then again, Toyota has to replace the car to your specifications. I'd inquire if they could custom paint you a 2006 in Stratosphere Mica. I think that's pretty fair considering yours is a Lemon.

OK....I went to Little Rock yesterday and looked at the new Nautical Blue Metalic. It looks almost identical to the Stratosphere Mica. If anything, it may be a little darker, but I really couldn't see a difference. So, I've ordered one in the new color to replace my lemon.
