No NAV available in Limited V6????

A V6 Limited with nav is definitely hard to find but the dealer can always order one directly from the factory. Your dealer probably doesn't want to do that and would rather sell what is already on their lot. Just be prepared to wait around 3 months on average.
t4rfan, dealers would be willing to swap between regions. The distances between these two dealers would have to be in reason though. Most of the time, the dealer will drive the vehicle you want from point A to point B. If you want it flatbedded or transported by a truck, they are probably going to charge you. At least that is my experience. I personally don't want anybody driving my brand new vehicle except to test it.

In California, Limited/V6/Nav is not an option combination ordered for dealer stock. My dealer custom ordered it for me, but I have to wait four months to get it. I'm not sure if the wait will be worth it, as I can get the same option combination in a V8 with no wait. I wanted a V6, though, so I'm waiting.

It all depends on the region you're in.
As Mark86 said, the dealers can swap between different regions, but chances are it will not be with what's already on their lots due to cost and distance. A west coast dealer may be able to "divert" a configuration you want from another region, i.e. mid west, east coast, while that truck is en route from Japan. Having your 4R trucked, so miles are not racked up on it will cost $$$... my sales rep trucked a Prius to Texas from CA for $1100. A while back, a 100 mile trade would've cost me $250, if I wanted it trucked.
In CA, the zip code entry to toyota.com does not accurately reflect available configurations anymore. The only way to get nav is a V8 Limited and I've heard all V8 Limiteds come with nav. Like Dennis, I could have a Limited V8 with nav in a color I want by the next day. But I don't need the extra power of the V8, so I special ordered and the waiting begins. Timing chain, oil filter location and 2WD mode on the V6 makes the wait worth it IMO. I was getting ready to settle on the V8 and was told my order got accepted.
It's certainly nice that Toyota offers us options and choices, so we can have a more unique vehicle, but wanting a specific configuration is PITA. Honda's approach with standard everything based on trim makes it A LOT easier, since color, maybe transmission and nav are the only options and choices to make. But the downside is you have to buy the top of the line just to get alloys and moonroof or buy a lower trim to avoid the moonroof.

I just got my 06 V8 SE almost 2 weeks ago. Before i got the SE i wanted a V8 Limited with Nav and Xreas. I live in SoCal and I called over 10 toyota dealers around me and i only found 1 V8 Limited with a nav in cerritos but it did not have XREAS. Everyone i spoke to said that the Nav was very rare. So i just decided to get the Limited with XREAS at least and the dealer i went to (Longo Toyota) didn't have any Limited with XREAS so i just ended up getting the Sports Edition sacrificing all the little goodies in the Limited for the XREAS. Damn i also wanted the rear ride height controller thing that was only available on the v8 Limited. I didn't special order because 3 months was too long of a wait.

I too looked for a Limited with X-REAS and NAV. They do not send ANY 4Runner equipped this way to SoCal. Your best bet would have been Northern California or out of state.
I ended up special ordering mine from Longo Toyota. It took almost 3 months to arrive but it was WELL worth it! :awais:

The time for delivery of a new car is never very certain, but it is likely to be longer for non-US manufacturers. A year ago I bought a Jeep Wrangler for which they quoted 2-3 months. It came in 3 months on the day. Needless, to say, I had been hoping for closer to 2. I ordered my 4Runner about six weeks ago. They quoted me 4-5 months. Now that is a really long time...so long that I'm trying not to think about it.

longo sells the most toyota in the u.s in 1990 thier volume is like 7k cars year with fleet. when i sold cars we would get promos and longo would always be in there 1 fleet guys sells over a thousand cars a yr..

WOULD YOU . 100 TRK AND ONE SPECIAL TRK WHY GIVE IT AWAY???i brought a 525 bmw without nav i wish i got nav but i leased it and i will never own this car so its not important to me, but if you keep cars forever it should be important to you. the resale would not be that much more when you trade it or sell it it will be more but not what you paid xtra for it...SOMETIMES YOU GET TO MUCH ADVICE IT CLOUDS YOUR JUDGEMENT

i heard longo was the best, also with toyotas you can always get some kind of a deal. thats why they have one of the best companys in the world...in 1990 i used to hate when we had celica conv. in stock like 2 of them...msrp 24000 loaded our sticker 4 k xtra for market avalibity which was a rip but i was just a wprker and in fla market demand was high . the car has 4 k in profit alone, i had a person come in on a sunday wanted the car willing to pay 500 over sticker and they said no....i about cryed my commision was 25-40% of 4500 min 1k something unheard of on a toyota, well three days later some one came in and on a slow day and offered 500 under real sticker they took it i was sick.salesman still made a 1k deal my deal was 1k higher, car business is a funny thing. same thing when i just brought a 5 series bmw 50k they all told me 1200 off msrp i thought they were nuts the car had 4k in mark up but stock was not good at most dealers....i missed adeal on the 27th at my dealer over discount after hunting for over a month. on the last day of month i brought check book and keys to my acura 12k 2003 mint white and went to a dealer in n.j that was my last chance if no dealm no bmw bottom line i got a 2006 with 3k off they made 1 k and what i wanted for my trade 1 month of pain...if i brought a 3 series listen to this 37k car they would give me 900.00 off a real joke...lexas is even worse at discounts, this is my second german car really nice, but i love my 95 4 runner, it drives like a car to me, fun to drive vrs my boring great running madza b3000 supercab.
