No Roof Rack

I saw a new 07 SR5 V6 Driftwood Pearl not equipped with a roof rack. I thought the roof rack was standard because every 4th gen that I have seen had one. I have never seen a 4th generation without a roof rack. I am so used to seeing roof racks on the 4th gen. that it really makes the vehicle bare looking without it

Yup, they're optional on the SR5's, always have been. Most SR5's have them added as a factory or port installed option though. I occasionally see a few driving around without a roof rack.

The port or stealer will add them just to get the markup profit. I was able to get mine without because it was a stealer order and I made sure they didn't add it. I had no use for it and I like the clean look up top.

If at a later date you wanted to remove the roof rack could you or would there be holes that needed to be filled in?

Someone asked this not too long ago. I attached pics in a thread of the small plastic insert cover strips that are used.
