Yes I Know There Is Many Threads On This But I Cant Seem To Be Able To Track The Problem Down... First And Foremost There Is No Spark To The Coil Packs ( BTW i Have A 98 4Runner 5SPD 4x4 5vz )First Replaced The Ignition Relay, Nothing.Replaced The Coil Igniter And Nothing. Then I Went Ahead And Tried Wiggling Two Sensors Down By The Crank Pulley And Nothing. I Disconnected The Battery For 10 Minutes To See If Maybe The ECU Would Reset And.... Nothing. Hooked Up A Code Reader To The OBD2 Port And It Says IT Cant Make A Connection To The Control Unit. I Just Pulled Off The ECU And Looks Ok, Anyway To Test This Or Look For Indications That It Might Be Out ? I Am Tempted To Replace It But For Starters I Can Find One That Matches Up The The 5SPD. Every Single One I Find Including EBAY Is A/T. Any Help Would Be Greatly Appreciated.:thanks:
