Hopefully this will help someone that has or will have a problem with something not working in the rear hatch. like lights, window, wiper etc.
Last weekend my rear wiper came on all by itself, then just as fast it stopped.
Last night I found I had no plate lights, both were out.
So today I took one of the plate lights out and found no power.
What I found was the wiring in the rubber boot that goes from the body to the hatch had broken wires.
Some short pieces of wire, soldering gun and shrinkwrap and it's fixed.
