No TE 4runners in Arkansas?

I'm in TN, and just got one in NC (fingers crossed, pick up Saturday), after many many hours and days, searching and dealing. There's not many out there.
 
The TE seems to be very hard to find/get in any area. With everything going on in Japan, they are going to be that much more difficult to find/get. My local dealer got nowhere, so I found one on my own.

I like in Conway and drive a TE, I ordered it from Caldwell back in Feb '10. I have yet to see another one around though. I saw one on a dealer lot in OKC earlier.
 
I think what your are seeing is, TE's are not ordered by the regional managers for certain regions for normal inventory. They can be special ordered or you can go outside of the region to get it like I had to for mine. My dealer had to go to Indiana to get my TE for me.

So far I haven't seen another TE on the roads here in KC, last time I had mine serviced the salesman that sold me mine, said other then mine he has only seen 1 and it had out of state plates on it.

So for now, I think I'm the only TE in KC, and maybe even Missouri :).

I've seen a silver TE, not sure if it had missouri plates, but I see it in Columbia all the time. Another person has a black TE and he lives in Saint Louis.

Dealerships don't get the TE in the midwest, you have to ask around or get one from out of state.

bubble buster! :) ok, so not all of Missouri but at least I may have KC to my self :)
 
It took me over 10 days of searching and hassling, OK, harassing dealers to find one, which I did, and pick up Saturday...I'm all giddy
 
I live up in the fayetteville area and have seen many TEs. Check fayetteville autopark they had a couple when i was getting my SR5 last summer.
