No Tonneu Cover on '06 SR5?

Apparently the 2006 SR5 4Runner's don't have the tonneu cover as standard equipment. Where can I get one or the non-Toyota branded one for my 4runner? Thanks.

if you end up deciding to buy the tonneau cover, don't forget you will also need to purchase the end hooks that connects the end of the tonneau cover.
 
I bought mine on eBay. It was a helluva lot less on eBay than at the dealer or the other online sources I checked at the time.

Yeah, MSRP on the covers is $600.00 here at the local parts department.

Do you have an SR5? I looked behind the blank panels where the cover would attached, and all I see is a giant bolt. What else do I need? I've seen covers with the hooks already attached on eBay. I tried to find the illustration on Partznets site but can't seem to find it. Thanks.
 
No, I have a Limited. There are slots in the back right behind the back seat that the tonneau cover fits in the Limited. Does your SR5 not have them?
 
Here are pics of the back. The LATCH babyseat hooks are the only items attached to the rear seats.

Man that sucks! First Toyota takes away the free weight carrying hitch and now the tonneau cover. Now you have to spend over $600 just to get a thin azz piece of roll out 3ft plastic! Dang!

I feel so lucky to have an 04 model.
 
No, they didn't take away the ability to install the tonnueau cover in the SR5. The slot is above and left of the compartment in the second picture above. It's almost square shaped.

The fine folks at Partznet (Conicelli Toyota) respond very quickly. They informed me this is what I should be buying:

"SIR FOR STONE INTERIOR - PART #64267-0C010-B1 FOR FAWN TRIM - PART #64267-0C010-E1"

I still want to verify the part numbers by looking at the parts illustration. I'll probably hit up the local Toy dealership.

In reference, I found this picture that shows the inverted "J" for the hook (pic from SN: Luxury):

So, If I have a grey interior, I should get PART #64267-0C010-B1? Does it come with a set of two( left and right?) or each hook has a own part number? Also how much is it?

$600 Good Lord! This seems like something that SHOULD be standard with the truck.

yes those "J" hooks are what you need. damn, i didnt know that the 03-05s had a different location for the side compartment. :confused:
 
I need someone to slap me right now. :bash: My bad. Yes it's still the same. It just looked different because I always have my cargo net on and it looked different in the picture. Plus I was also thinking of the side compartment on the RIGHT side of the 4Runner, and for some reason I also mixed in my GX's side compartment which is on the LEFT side (cuz the subwoofer's on the right rear side), so I thought that I had a horizontal compartment on the left side. Silly me. :headslap: :whipping2
