Noise at full lock turning

Have any of you had this metallic noise while turning at full lock with the steering? Im trying to figure out whats hitting but havent had any luck. I have the factory 18" Enkei wheels and cross terrains. I especially notice it when i drive over a dip while turning hard.

My reason for asking is ive thought about changing to a different tire at some point thats slightly larger but not with a lift. I want to be sure i wont have any issues. I also want to be sure im not damaging anything as it sits now too.

Anyone have a picture of the steering stops? I've got the same problem, but don't know what the steering stops look like.

Ill try to take a look at mine tomorrow and add some grease there. If i get a chance to do this tomorrow ill take a picture of where i did it for you M1911. I see the ones on that link arnt working anymore.

I can almost do it on command over a speedbump or anything like that. I see some of the other threads say maybe the swaybar etc. so if this doesnt work ill move on to the next hardest. Would give me a good reason to move to the poly bushings.

Thanks Chaz! That was a very simple fix. I greased the slip joint this afternoon and hit the steering stops while I was at it.
