Noises after hill climb assist

I've got a new 2011 SR5 that I've had for about a month, but have hardly driven it (only put on about 500 miles myself)... One day, when I was driving up my driveway, I took my foot off the gas to let the garage door open up. The 4Runner started rolling back down the driveway (since my driveway has an incline to it) and I heard a metal clunking sound like something kicked in (I'm assuming the hill climb assist). Ever since this happened, I now hear some metal clicking type noises which appear to be coming from the front passenger suspension/tire area when I turn at low speeds (like less than 10mph).

Has anyone else had this problem? Could it just be that the vehicle is still new and needs to be broken in? Or, should I take it to the dealership to have them look at it. Since it was a short roll back down my driveway, any chance that the hill climb assist is stuck in between engage/disengage?

Is your driveway steep? I was worried about this issue when I experienced it also. My 2006's Hill Start works great on slight/moderate inclines. However, my parents driveway is pretty steep. When I stop in the middle of the incline and accelerate to move forward, I roll back and feel like I have to override this "grinding" noise you describe. After lots of research, I believe the "grinding" noise is just the ABS trying to keep you from rolling back because the hill is so steep.

My driveway has a steep part to it, but is pretty short... I actually tried testing the hill climb assist again the other day, but have yet to test drive it further to see if it still makes the noises when driving regularly at lower speeds (I tested it when I got home from my trip, as opposed to on my way out).
The hill climb assist worked fine, but I don't know yet if the sounds have gone away with regular driving. I'll have to post back when I drive it again.

I'm hoping that it just needs to be used a few times so that it will pass the "break in" stage and/or lubricate itself.
