Non-adjustable Bilstein strut for lifted applications?

Does Bilstein make a non-adjustable shock (5100 or similar) for lifted applications? It seems to me that you are paying more for the shock because of the "ride height adjustability" feature, when 90 percent of us use them on the lowest (stock) setting. Is there not a similar quality bilstein shock they could sell for cheaper because it isn't adjustable?

I assure you, you are not paying much extra for the adjustability. If you have ever seen how the adjustability is done, you can see it costs maybe .50 extra cents to manufacture.

I haven't seen it personally. I suppose it makes sense though. I'm looking to replace my front struts and would want to save money if I could.

Price difference between a Tundra 5100 and a Bilstein yellow HD is 12 dollars. Cheapest place to buy the Tundra 5100's is Tirerack they are 95 apiece. I use mine at the second setting from the bottom and will probably be going to the middle setting soon.

I ordered Tundra 5100 fronts and HD rears from AJUSA for $298 free shipping after current promo code. They will be here Monday. Pairing them with 99 Tall coils. Front Tundra 5100's are $40 more than HD front pairs overall. Not bad at all

So currently I have a hub to fender of around 22.5". That is with my tundra coils, tokico struts and a 3/8" top plate spacer. I would like to keep that, or raise it slightly.

If I bought TUNDRA 5100's, would it be better to leave them at the low setting and leave in my spacer, or use the adjustability and put them up a notch?

What are you sitting at with that set-up? I could probably add .25-.5" because you have an ARB.

I believe I am at 22.5 inches. So you might go up a 1/4 inch. I used to have 4runner shocks on Tundra coils with a spacer and there wasn't much difference in height.
