Noob Audio/Nav HU questions.

Hey guys,

So I just got a new ,to me, 2007 4Runner. It doesn't have a JBL system just the standard radio. I was wanting to put a radio unit, like the one that comes in the limited, in my car. What are your suggestions? Is this possible with what I have? All help is appreciated.

Responses are overwhelming. I'd prefer a GPS unit powered by Garmin. What do most think of this model:Kenwood DNX6140?

Are you a teenager with nothing but time on your hands because demanding an answer in 2 hours after your initial post is a little ridiculous. If you really wanted true stereo opinion, there are dedicated sites for that like DIymobileaudio.com where the audio knowledge is pretty in depth.

To answer your question, young man, if your requirement is a garmin nav then yes, kenwood is probably your only option. That said, I've never heard that they are good for SQ but since you're so young, you probably just want it for SPL so you should be fine. I agree with the previous post that alpine or pioneer, for sound, is better.
