Noob down in FL

Noob in Florida. Just picked up a 2001 4Runner SR5. I have always really liked the 3rd gen lines and finally had the chance and resources to buy one. She is in amazing shape. I am the second owner. First owner was anal like me. I have every single service record for it. This guy was on top of it and it shows. Looking forward to a few mods. First up...suspension! Mechanical noob here, but 6-years with a 2001 T4R Limited. What do you want to do with the suspension? Mine seems ok at 88,000 miles, haven't done anything with it, not even shocks. What's up with yours?

For starters replace dampers on all 4 corners. They are shot. Rear end bounces whenever I hit an undulation or speed bump. Feels dead. Suspension is all original. She has 139k miles on her, though you would guess only 39k as she looks so dang good (mechanically and cosmetically). I am being realistic...not gonna be going off-road much. Looking for something that will go down the road nice. We take MAN trips a few times a year up into the mountains but that's the extent of it. I say that now but looking around here is giving me all kinds of ideas...dangerous...thanks!
