Hello to everyone! I've been reading this board for a few weeks as i just recently purchased an 86 Runner that I got a killer deal on. My cousin recently got me interested in these mud machines. I confess to being a Ford Truck owner for years and years. In fact I still love Ford trucks, but the runner I purchased is treating me well.
I will post a Pic or two of my rig soon, but here's the deal. I paid $2k for an 86 in almost perfect condition with only 135k miles on it! The paint, interior and engine are near perfect! My cousin Fred who got me interested in these vehicles said I stole it.
I appreciate all who post here as it has been most insightful in getting to know my rig. I am a gearhead and have a 1968 Mustang Fastback GT that normally occupies my free time and consumes my money.
Anyhow, I'm also posting to see if anyone is interested in purchasing a JT Outfitters Header for a 22RE that I just bought off of EBay.
Living in California I didn't realize it was not smog legal until I took it into my muffler shop today to get it installed. I paid $140 for it but am willing to let it go for $100 if anyone wants it.
It is painted with header coating but is not ceramic coated. If anyone is interested, please let me know and I'll send you pictures of the pipe.
Anyhow, I'm happy to be here and will get picture of my rig up soon.
