Noob looking for advice and suggestions...

Okay, after pinching pennies and saying to hell with paying back my student loans, I recently purchased a 2004 4Runner SR5 4WD and was looking to make some mods in the future. I was browsing through the forums and while full of information, it was a bit overwhelming and I didn't know where to start in terms of a plan on what and when to mod things. I don't have a lot of the extras on it; I think the only extras I really have are the streering wheel radio controls and the larger wheels. To give you some background as to what I'll be doing with the vehicle, I'm planning on taking it on camping and hunting trips, driving on snow for ski trips, and putting a ton of miles on it on general road trips. I'm not looking to make a lot of cosmetic changes, more performance and functionality changes and money is a bit of a factor. If anyone has any suggestions I'm all ears.

Thanks in advance.
