Noob saying hello and question

Hi all...I just moved from Western Canada to Toronto and decided to get rid of my beast of a truck and into something more economical and city friendly.

I took delivery today of a Black Trail Edition. I will post pictures over the next few days (Its raining and dark right now).

First impressions is that this vehicle is super fun to drive. I can't wait to try it off-road (should be this weekend) on some trails.

I do have one stupid question...

The reason I chose the Trail Edition was because I could switch from 2wd to 4wd, that and KDSS, Multi Terrain, bare bones interior and stunning good looks. Here is the question:

Is the 2wd front or rear wheel. I assumed it is rear wheel, but in the owner's manual it keeps referencing the 2wd as front?

If anyone could help it is appreciated.

The 2wd selection is rear wheel drive. When you put it in 4x4 mode, it engages the transfer case and send power to the front differential.

Thanks...I thought so, just got confused after reading the owner's manual. The way it's written is messed up.
