Greeting from Beautiful Colorado!!
I was over in the Classic TR4's a few years back (lost my info), I was trying to get an 89 TR4 off road worthy. Sadly, I did not have the resources or the time that the poor thing needed, I was the 6th owner and it was in rough shape. I was able to find someone that was able to provide it a better home with the care and attention it needed.
I am happy to say I was able to rescue a 97 SR5 5 speed from two women in Boulder, that were the only owners. This beauty only had 114K, perfect maintenance, garage kept miles, though had never experienced the joys of leaving the pavement. I've been slowly introducing back into its natural habitat on some easy trails that suit its current physical condition (various trails around CO, and one trip to Moab). Some minor additions so far: deckplate mod, tires, Colorado pinstripes, dent in drivers side running board from a rock, accessories for toys (bikes and skis), and a few other small things. I am planning on adding suspension with lift, rear locker, and a few other tid-bits over the next few months so it can venture further in the future. I am happy to say that it has made the adjustment well in returning to it's natural habitat. It experienced sheer joy on it's first outing as it pulled a Wrangler from a snow drift. Some pictures below if it frolicking around in the wilderness. I am also hoping to find some others in the area, so I can work on socializing it with others of it's kind that have also been set free from pavement.

It love seeing a bone stock rig. Makes my mind whirl with possibilities.
