I miss Bowman. Last time I went in it was horribly icy on that final drop down to the lake. Always wanted to go in further and come out from the jackson meadow side.
 
Been off the boards for awhile.

Any wheeling plans? Might try to squeeze in a few before/if I move onto another project car. :biggrin2:

It seems like this will be a drier season, meaning less time waiting for snow to thaw. Is anyone out there trying to make something happen? I have a baby coming late April so I'm pretty limited on far trips. But one can always dream right?

Got all the bugs worked out
The very few I had.
And I love it.
The added power is night and day difference especially with the larger injectors.

I’ve got a few trips in this year all to the snow just to MET with the fam to play in the snow
I’m also expecting a new addition to the family at the end of this month and future trips will be hard but we can dream.
With that said.
My son and I are headed to Knoxville on Sunday for a day trip rain or shine if anyone is interested.

Knoxville should be fun. Probably enough moisture to cut down on dust but not enough to make it sloppy. Now you've got my wheels turning...

And exactly my thoughts on Knoxville.
Should be fun for a day trip
I was thinking of taking some sandwiches and just climbing to the top have some lunch chill for a bit then head down
 
Awesome. I'm looking forward to meeting some of the other local 3rd gen owners and being able to admire some of these rigs in person. I would have met you guys out there in Knoxville but we took the Camry back home to my parents house instead. Never been. How is it?
 
Well a lot of folks have non 3rd gen's that are equally impressive if (ahem, cough cough).

Anyhow, I've only been to Knoxville area once many many years ago. From what I recall, It's basically a secluded area with many fire road type trails. Nothing particularly challenging, and not really any named destinations (lakes, famous lookouts etc). That doesn't mean it can't be fun! For a day trip for folks in the Napa area, it can be worth it. I've been meaning to go back and explore more. I probably won't make it tmrw either so we can wait for Mark's trip report.
 
Knoxville is all fire roads
No major destinations
But since I basically used to live there when I was younger
I know of more than a few spots that can be pretty challenging.
But since I am taking my son I won’t be hitting those spots. Maybe [emoji41].
 
I'm sure your 95 is more impressive than my 96' lol. I'll catch up one day though. MarkamisPrime, make sure to throw up some pics and maybe a video of your trip tomorrow. Be safe out there everyone.
