Nor Cal Wheeling, Camping and BS - 2019

hey ya'll, i have to fix my TREs on Thursday and get it aligned the same day. if all checks out and its not the inners, i will likely do some snow wheeling on Saturday at Mormon immigrant. i always see all sorts of vehicles up there, but ive only ever seen a pair of 5th gens once and they were from socal of all places.

i dont do any real wheeling in regular dirt/mud (just not my thing), but i do love me some snow wheeling. once i get my PCK on i will try to be out in the snow more as well. if there are any good snow wheeling spots up 50 that arent too hard on stuff let me know!

are you talking about mormon in pollock pines? if so i was up there on xmas eve and there was zero snow (and i dont think its rained or snowed since). are you all the way up by 88?

I went up before Xmas and there was plenty of snow not as much as this time but both times I went up the 50 side and didn’t even get close to the 88 side. Not even half way either cause I didn’t make it to my usual chill spot witch is right about the half way point.
I have done the 88 to 50 side and there was almost no snow on the 50 side that time.
You just have to keep driving until you see snow.
The road is 27 miles long.
