Was anyone else effected by the storm that happened today?

In my neighborhood, some of my neighbors tree branch came down...

I will snap some pictures of it tomorrow morning before class..

I stuck mine in 4wd today, the weather was pretty nasty.
people where spinning out on the highway and there were some floodings too.

at downtown, they had wind close to 50 mph.

is everyone alright?

I wish we got that kind of weather down here, we've just seen some rain drops and some dark clouds. Be safe up there

it made for a pretty interesting drive to work I'll say that...I just picked up this truck last week and it was great seeing how it performs in bad weather.

I live in Sacramento & I can say it was a nasty storm but I was glad to have my 4runner ;) & I just got new tires yesterday... We have had a lot of power outages & tree branches down most of the HWY's are flooded & a lot of roads in downtown Sacramento where closed :lookout:

yeah devils slide had a fatal accident and i live on the coast so i thought i was gonna get trapped in. el camino had some nice puddles!

im up in folsom, and apparently an suv was driving downtown and was hit by a falling tree. everyone is alright from what i heard but still scary.

i on the other hand, attempted to hydroplane/ drift my t4r with my new duratracs, and i couldn't get the back end out at all. part of me loves the new traction, part of me misses the fun

That's good, everyone is safe.

Gohidetheasian,

sorry about your buddy, hope everything is alright with him.

nrgwar,

did you see the massive flooding on I-5 next to old sac?

would anyone like to get together this weekend and have some fun in Prairie City?

I will post some pics of the damages in my town..

I'm in the bay area(Livermore) and we got this hard
I had a 35foot birtch tree fall down and almost bust up some house windows
In 2wd the vsc is so unpredictible. I was skidding out and countersterring, but vsc kicked in and locked up the back wheels. My ass end ends up kicking out to the other side and I almost crunch my truck. If you don't know how to work with these systems bad things happen. Or many just because I'm a 16 year old kid on the road for almost 8 months

That storm made some nice mudputs around here and my truck got her baptisim by mud. Parental unit wasn't quite happy tho:(:wtf:

I remember when I was young I took my cherokee wheelin up local fireroads and up to the watertower and did donuts in the mud. Then I'd go home and hose off in the street and there would be mud EVERYWHERE and my parents would get pissed. hahahaha Do it while you're young.

Nothing too serious in Santa Barbara. Many concerns about flash floods after the fires. Sporatic rainfall across the tri counties
