Hey everyone! I'm new here... first 4Runner, but not first 'Yota. We still have an '03 Tacoma PreRunner 2WD & an RX350 AWD. The T4R is stock at the moment, but I'm looking to change that. So you prob wouldn't notice me driving anywhere from Sac to SF (which I do a bit) or to Tahoe... just another Titanium Metallic 
I'm much more noticeable when I drive my S4, so say hi if you see me!

Hey since this is the spotted thread reviving from the dead.
Anyone want to spot me in Hollister this weekend. Gonna take a run at mini rubicon and see what happens. :laugh:

LOL yup it's a spotting thread now. Just take pics as you approach the rocks, post em, and I'll do my best to spot you through the internet
Wish you guys weren't so far or else I'd definitely be down. Gonna try and get a high lakes run in next weekend. Maybe I'll see some snow.

Good news is everything worked well. No breakage and skids got a huge workout with me trying to get stuck so I can test out the front trutrac

Check your CV's. I had a clunk that went away when I changed out one of my CV's. Might be worth a look.

sometime in feb, im running hwy tires and stock skids right now(save weight, long commute) so nothing crazy for me either.
I do have a ripped boot on the pass side cv, that might be it. good thing i have warranty on both CVs.

That would be where I would bet my money. :nod:
I was surprised that it went away. Started clunking after slick rock last summer. When I found out I had an axle seal leak on the drivers side, I swapped it out because a groove had formed on the shaft where the seal sat and low and behold the noise went away.

Fj emblem on ebay for 13 bucks with 2 days to go. god i hope i get it. 35 bucks for an emblem is ridiculous.
Also anybody got any wheel spacers for sale, the tacoma sports wheels have terrible offsets, im rubbing the UCA just driving on the street.
Also if anybody wants a free flowmaster 40s let me know im trying to swap for a stock set up again, commuting with 40s and no sound deadening sucks.

stock size tubing, i was thinking more of a direct swap. trade everything after the cat except the 02 sensor. my flow 40 for your stock muffler. only thing is my exhaust is cut off right after the axle instead of coming out the side like stock exhaust.

I'm Sonoma county, once we get some snow I plan on getting some buddies of mine with Tacoma's and doing a run to Pillsbury, day trip to shoot and play in the snow a little bit.
