They're open every other weekend in July and closed for August because it gets too hot. At least that's what they told me when I went a few weeks ago.

Super cool place that a 4Runner can definitely go. Maybe not on street tires though just due to pointy sharp rocks out there and traction issues. Other than that a stock 4Runner will do every easy trail out there. And their definition of easy is not most people's

I'll back up [MENTION=116387]Unner[/MENTION] on this one, Hawk Pride is super fun. Definitely something to check out with a stock runner. You'll run into issues on some of the moderate trails purely due to clearance, but some moderates you can do, check out as you please. I wouldn't recommend the hard trails, the rocks will be slightly too big.

Get out and explore! If you can't make it over, turn around and try something else!

New Huntsville member here, my Runner is currently up on jack stands in my garage mid lift install. I have about an hour a night to devote to it. Should be ready in about two weeks at this rate. Let me know when y'all want to ride.

I also have an 06 LX 470 but its too nice for a trail and the wife would probably kill me if i took it out.

Me too but I can't even drive the 4Runner I messed up my body lift and can't drive it and none of my friends know what they're doing to help

Yes, It's me, the 4Runner stalker. LOL. I've finally got the front end torn down, the front upper ball joints were a beyotch. I'm waiting for some new bushings to arrive and then going to out back together.

Wanna help, I'll supply the Wild Turkey, lol.

Haha I would help if I could. I'm trying to get everything buttoned up on my runner along with balancing a bunch of other things. Hoping to finally get this winch installed in the next week or two. Then my rear bumper comes in hopefully so that'll have to go on along with the Polyurethane rear body mounts, and a set of OME 861's most likely to support the weight. After that the only major thing on the horizon is 33's and a locker.

Hey man, I'm in Greenville, SC. If you did go, and were willing to go through Atlanta (which looks like it will add about 20 min to your trip time), I'll make the trip, too. Google maps puts me going through Atlanta on the way up.

I haven't met anyone from the forums yet, either. Wouldn't mind meeting up with and making some new friends...
