Northern Illinois 4Runner Group

Hi, I would like to join the Northern Illinois group too. I live in Crystal Lake, IL. I am hoping to get new tires and start hitting the trails. I have 2 4Runners, planning on building the 2016 SR5.

My plans may have fallen through today but thinking of trying to make it to McHenry tomorrow if anyone’s down. Looks like some rain in the forecast, so mud is a must.

Anyone up for anything this coming weekend?

I think I need to get a flag for the local stuff, the front mount I had to rig up for Silver Lake would suck anywhere else.

Spooner, I can’t swing this weekend unfortunately but maybe next Sunday.

As far as flags go, I definitely would not run your setup anywhere else. At least at the Cliffs that thing would be ripped off immediately. I use a flag and pole combo I bought at Farm and Fleet for maybe $20. I think it’s an ATV flag but it has always met the standard where I’ve been. Don’t drive with it down the road though. It’ll shred at high speeds.

I might be able to pull off next Sunday, if I have some notice. My better 1/2 works Sunday, but I have willing babysitting with notice because Gramma is obsessed with her 'little peanut'.

What's the flag requirements? Just total height? Location requirement?
 
I’m sorry. My Sunday just blew up. I’m on duty but maybe we can aim for the following week so we can actually plan it out.

Just need a flag above your rig. That’s it. Not strict at all.

So talking the 31st, Labor day weekend? I'm pretty sure I can swing it, but I need to verify with my free babysitter, really any of Sat-Mon would be doable, Sat/Mon would be better, but I think I can make all 3 work with some notice.
 
Hey guys do you know where I can get an alignment done? I would like to give it to a shop that knows what they are doing with lifted trucks.

Just got my 3" Dobinsons lift installed with SPC UCAs
